This code were stamped on VW Engine case sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 you can see the cylinder 10 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
65514 Possible Causes:
65514 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 65514 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
