This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage and wait then control module defective will delay your vw fault. |
65501 Possible Causes:
65501 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 65501 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
