The problem is about intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2 or exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, tension too largely is the final reason of the code. |
65298 Possible Causes:
65298 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 65298 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
