65226 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf or valve for pump - jet, cylinder 4 (n243), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code.

65226 Possible Causes:

65226 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses

What To Check After Fixing 65226 Code

  • Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
