The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance will delay your vw fault. |

65217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
