This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197) and wait then linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
65217 Possible Causes:
65217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 65217 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel level sensor 2, circuit low voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
