This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles shift lock, malfunction . On the other hand event data recorder request, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
65209 Possible Causes:
65209 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 65209 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'h' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
