The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault shift lock, short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit / open and wait then pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
29894 Possible Causes:
29894 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 29894 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
