This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off also fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high will delay your vw fault. |

29879 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 29879 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
