This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of abs control module it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit or change control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit is the final reason of the code. |
29871 Possible Causes:
29871 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29871 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 tension too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
