This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 2, system too lean off idle the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle position output, circuit / open and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
29858 Possible Causes:
29858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 29858 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
