29849 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault vehicle speed sensor 'b', circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit low and exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code.

29849 Possible Causes:

29849 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 29849 Code

  • Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
