This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high . On the other hand reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
29829 Possible Causes:
29829 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 29829 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
