Staring in engine secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+ and ignition coil 'k' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
29801 Possible Causes:
29801 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 29801 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
