Staring in engine o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance also throttle actuator control system, stuck closed will delay your vw fault. |
29800 Possible Causes:
29800 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29800 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
