This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses or change load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
29796 Possible Causes:
29796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 29796 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
