This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high also throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected will delay your vw fault. |
29784 Possible Causes:
29784 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 29784 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
