This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed or control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
29769 Possible Causes:
29769 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 29769 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
