This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high or change cylinder 11 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
29766 Possible Causes:
29766 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 29766 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
