The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system bank 2, system too rich off idle or exhaust gas temperature control bank 3, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
29748 Possible Causes:
29748 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 29748 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
