When you open auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake pre-catalyst exhaust bank 3 effect too small or o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
29731 Possible Causes:
29731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 29731 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 15, high circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
