Staring in engine pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to b+ and accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high is the final reason of the code. |
29731 Possible Causes:
29731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low

- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders

What To Check After Fixing 29731 Code
- Inspect all the connections barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
