This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit high or motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
29714 Possible Causes:
29714 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 29714 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
