When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ or change fuel level sensor 2, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
29704 Possible Causes:
29704 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29704 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 4 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
