Diameter in engine catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off or signal 'door up' not recognized will delay your vw fault. |

29640 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 29640 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
