29566 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant fan control 1: open or short to ground and wait then bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation is the final reason of the code.

29566 Possible Causes:

29566 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 29566 Code

  • Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
