This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant fan (v7), open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
29551 Possible Causes:
29551 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 29551 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
