29498 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with charging system, voltage retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control unit programming, programming not finished you can see the ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
29498 Possible Causes:
29498 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29498 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus engine/engine, software condition monitoring
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
