This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground or change reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |

29493 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29493 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
