Diagnosing engine bar with pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance or change direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
29491 Possible Causes:
29491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 29491 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), under voltage during basic adjustment
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
