Diameter in engine intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open and wait then data-bus powertrain, software version controller is the final reason of the code. |
29488 Possible Causes:
29488 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 29488 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
