This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, higher limit not reached or reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
29487 Possible Causes:
29487 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 29487 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
