This something to do with the intake camshaft timing vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit low or change oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
29486 Possible Causes:
29486 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29486 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
