The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas recirculation system performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor activation intake manifold runner bank 2 control circuit, open or engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
29458 Possible Causes:
29458 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 29458 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 4 (n243), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
