29450 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit / open . On the other hand a/c clutch relay, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault.

29450 Possible Causes:

29450 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

What To Check After Fixing 29450 Code

  • Inspect all the connections engine torque reduction, open / short to ground
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
