This something to do with the intake camshaft timing a/c request a, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle angle signal stuck on and pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
29440 Possible Causes:
29440 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 29440 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
