This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet, cylinder 5 (n244), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector control pressure regulator, circuit high or supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
29423 Possible Causes:
29423 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 29423 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission range display, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
