The problem is about linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |
29420 Possible Causes:
29420 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 29420 Code
- Inspect all the connections givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
