When you open accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
29408 Possible Causes:
29408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 29408 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system control 'a', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
