This code were stamped on VW Engine case fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high . On the other hand steering angle signal, error message from steering angle sensor is the final reason of the code. |
29406 Possible Causes:
29406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 29406 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
