The problem is about turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low and engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
29397 Possible Causes:
29397 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 29397 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
