This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too largely the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pre-catalyst exhaust bank 3 effect too small also o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
29393 Possible Causes:
29393 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 29393 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
