This something to do with the intake camshaft timing friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical or reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
29387 Possible Causes:
29387 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit

What To Check After Fixing 29387 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
