This something to do with the intake camshaft timing charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich and wait then torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
29290 Possible Causes:
29290 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 29290 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
