29281 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit or hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low will delay your vw fault.

29281 Possible Causes:

29281 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 29281 Code

  • Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
