This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start torque management feedback signal "a", high or nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
29278 Possible Causes:
29278 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 29278 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
