29261 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit / open and wait then reversing light, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
29261 Possible Causes:
29261 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29261 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
