This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent or change please check dtc memory of instrument cluster will delay your vw fault. |
29220 Possible Causes:
29220 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29220 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
