This code were stamped on VW Engine case turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start powertrain databus, implausible engine temperature message from inst. you can see the fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
29204 Possible Causes:
29204 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 29204 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
