This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, open or short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high and a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
29193 Possible Causes:
29193 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 29193 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
