29178 Possible Causes:
29178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29178 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
