29178 Description And Summary : |

When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel pump "b" control, circuit low or change ignition coil 'k' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
29178 Possible Causes:
29178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 29178 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
