29172 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about ignition coil cylinder 15, low circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground and wait then ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
29172 Possible Causes:
29172 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29172 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
